What are some good ways to form pickup groups in War Camp?

In general I enjoy participating in pick-up groups, but lately I've had nothing but frustrating experiences in Sorrow's Furnace. In addition to the usual annoyances like disconnects and egos, so many players insist on running straight for bosses over and over again, aggroing 2 or 3 groups until we all have DP's of 60% and people start leaving. And it seems like nobody knows how to follow called targets anymore (or call targets intelligently, for that matter) or protect casters.

I realize the best solution is to find a guild and go with guildmates or other trusted friends. But I don't play often enough to get a group like that together that in the short amount of time I have to play.

SO, I'm wondering: does anyone have a tried and true strategy for getting a fun and effective pick-up group together? I.e., is there a way to say "LF mature and patient players who know how to wisely call and follow targets and avoid unnecessary aggro" in a way that actually attracts them (and only them)?

Thanks in advance!

First off, make sure the group understands what's going on before you even leave the camp. If you just tell them you're doing farming for Greens, then they'll just go straight for the bosses and not care about anything else.

Tell them you intend on clearing the areas, rather than just attacking the bosses. If they dont like it, they can leave the group.

Join Savio and I. Unless you're a warrior, in which case try to make your own team. Over our many runs we find out who is good and add them to friends. If you're nice and a good player people will go with you again.

Oh, wait, I'm not in Warcamp. Well, I'll go with you, and anyone else from the forums who's a good player.

I would like to get in on a farming group from the camp. Soloing or henching the bosses is getting boring... I kind of miss the social aspect of grouping with good players.

BTW, I usually hate being leader anyhow, so if you've got certain plans invite me first

As for calling and protecting casters, well, I usually let the casters call and I just aggro everything first, so the meleers are all on me anyhow. It's why I usually go by my one tank rule, but I've actually found a few other good tanks before.
