Divine Favour: 12 (+1) (+2)
Healing Prayers: 12 (+3)
Protection Prayers: 3

Glyph of Renewal
Divine Spirit
Healing Touch
Orison of Healing
Healing Breeze
Dwayna's Kiss
Smite Hex
Mend Ailment

Perma-Divine Spirit for cheap 1-5 cost heals to spam. Glyph of Renewal and Divine Spirit match perfectly for duration and recharge.

Most likely, a 3 attribute Prot/Heal/DF monk would work best instead, I just wanted the Divine Spirit+Renewal combo out for public view. Might not be the best energy engine possible (Especially seeing as it's based heavily on a single enchantment), but it looks good on paper anyway.

Edit; I misread the change to Glyph of Sacrafice, silly me. Fixed >_>

diving spirit has a 60 second recharge if im not mistaken and glyph of renewal reduces it by half so its a 30 sec recharge. Divine spirit only lasts around 9-10 secs with 13 divine favor. I believe.

Divine Spirit lasts 14 seconds at 15 Divine Favour, 16-17 with a 20% enchantment mod.
Glyph of Renewal now recharges your next skill INSTANTLY, and still takes 15 seconds to recharge.

So basically, Divine spirit = 15s recharge.

I see I'm not the only one who jumped on this combo. But remember Divine spirit is an enchantement. I just had my ass kicked 1 minute ago by a mesmer from iQ who dispelled my Divine spirit everytime I used it.

Nice to see other people thinking of the same things, means it's not so far out there. I guess you have to slap Healing Breeze on the moment Divine Spirit goes up and hope they don't react fast enough to kill it, although once you're under focus fire, you can be sure they'll focus enchantment removal to kill it too, regardless of what you do.

Didn't really intend for this to be the next Ether Renewal (which can fall victim to removal instantly too), I just wanted to share it in general, as it's fun anyway.

It's a tricked out pony. Tricked out ponies are great until they lose their tricks. Straight healing and straight protection aren't tricked out. Enchantment removal simply defeats this tricked out pony.

However, since the basic model healer is still intact, if you manage your energy properly, you can run without the combo and still be effective. Using a combo as energy management isn't so great, IMO.

Actually the problem with this combo isn't really enchant removal (they have to baby-sitt you for that, and you can cast Divine spirit 15s later) but the long time it takes to use it. When you play a monk, you want energy ASAP, cause all the time you focus on something else than healing/protecting, your mates can die.

Actually, this (combination of Glyph of Renewal, Divine Spirit and 5 energy spells) works remarkably well, from the couple of hours in Random Arena testing. Nearly infinite healing capacity, when done right.
Not sure if it'll stand up in Team Arena, GvG and Tombs though, as you'll keep getting stripped of enchants.
