I just sold 150 to someone in Augury.. and that sure is one trade that left me feeling very bemused for quite a while after.

Why would someone need 150?

someone told me they use it to buy armor pieces and salvage em for parchments or silk dont remember. and they use it to get the smiting staff from collectors.

5 mino horns can be trader for gloves, depending on class you can pull up to 30 wood/tanned hide/iron and up to 10 linen, silk

outside Augry rock, in a corner near the portal.

The scam is to expert salvage the mesmer collector gloves and get a lot of Linen, as has been said. Linen is worth a lot less now, the margins aren't great so I don't know why people waste their time on it now.
