"vB_editor" is undefined

This is really bugging me. When on this forum, i can't see any avatars at all, i can't post smilies and i can't use any of the bold, underline, quote options etc. Other sites i have been to have been fine.
I assumed it was a website problem at first but i haven't seen any posts about it so i conclude that it must be me.

At the bottom of the browser, an error message and yellow warning triangle tell me that "vb_editor" is undefined and and gives some other numbers which i know zero about.

An internet search brings up garbage about coding and hex editors which is about as helpful to me as a "how to make sandcastles" book is to an eskimo.

I know this forum is full of clever folks...all forums have a percentage of computer wizards, so let me hear ya!

I recently had a trojan virus (two days ago) which i got rid of with the help of AVG. I don't think it was that though.

Pentium 4
ATI radeon x600 pro - 256 mb
1024 ram
250 gb hd
Up-to-date drivers etc
windows xp home

It's an update problem with the forum software.
