Guild "Killers"
Ventius Hozza
I don't know if this has been discussed before and im not ranting that i happened, im simply stating a possible release for this.
Today, someone who was in the guild for a long time decided to mess the guild up. He was an officer just like everyone else. Firstly he invites lots of his friends and promotes to officer. He then starts a guild battle simply to lose. We have no way of kicking him as the leader is not here and the more friends he adds, the worse it gets. Now i state that if something like this is happening, there should be some way to stop it. Such as a vote kick type thing. If someone is doing something like this and nobody has the power to straight kick, theres a vote and a certain percentage of the guild needs to vote for him to be out. Also, how about only officers etc can start a guild battle?
As i said im not ranting or anything and i don't know if this has been said before.
Edit: Name removed, sorry didn't know

1. Don't post an IGN of someone. Edit it out if you can.
2. If your guild leader made someone like that an officer, you're best off looking for another guild.
3. If your guild leader's away for long, you're best off looking for another guild.

wow. did he just snap and decide to act like a 12 year old? thats horrible. I'd say that you are better off looking for another guild as well. that sucks.

This is why my guild was around for two betas and after release up to a week ago with me as the leader and no officers. Not that I didn't trust my guild, but certain things had to be driven home about how the guild runs.
Now we have 11 people, 1 officer, and 1 leader. And we're gonna start PvPing the moment we get the new people (old friends from old games) to a level that they have skills that are required in PvP.
In the mean time, we're PvEing together as much as we can, and having a blast.

2. Everyone is an officer, its part of the whole "equality" thing, probably a bad idea but its nice to know.
3. My guild leader was out for an hour or so.
I like my guild and I'm really not thinking of leaving it. I like to think that this has made us stronger and now we got our rank miles higher so I am satisfied. Its just not nice to know that things like this happen.

I thought it was a guild leader who can arrange GvG meets only.
Savio
It's guild leader or officer, which is one reason why the "every member is an officer" thing is bad.

It went inactive eventually due to all but 2 people losing interest in GW so it doesn't exist anymore, but thats another story. Now in my guild we have ~ 50 members with 4 officers. Enough

man that's nuts and it sucks for your guild. I wonder why that person did it?
Ventius Hozza
Because some people are just lame like that... cant see any other reason for doing it.
And you know he's probably doing it to someone else's guild right now
