Well, after the skill fix on 29-9-05, the smiter build got "nerfed", same as the ranger spiking. I have got problems with this nerf, since they didnt do anything to IWAY, on the GW site they say: "Success in Guild Wars is always the result of player skill"

Why do they nerf the smiters then, who most contained skilled players because all the n00bs went on to IWAY...do they wanna let the not-so-skilled players gain easy fame? So they look les n00b?

Dont you guys think this is pretty weird?

They did nerf IWAY in a way. IWAY and TF no longer stack. The Order Necros now have to be in radar range of the team to make his skills actually take effect. IWAY is now a weak Healing Breeze for the Warriors, Necros are now in sight, no more incredibly fast attack speed. I think thats nerfed.

Fixing, your being an ignorant crybaby. First off - Smiting is not something I would call "skillfull", nor respectable. Granted, neither is IWAY, but often you see both in the same group, dont you?

Want to hear what I think you should do?

All they did was make it able for non-smiter/IWAYs to fight on a level playing field. It also increases diversity. Now mesmers and necros are needed, and seeing as to how thats my primary character, I have no complaints.

You're right... cast BA on a couple warriors and zealots fire and spam 5e near instant casts at the BA warriors. THATS skill....

So uh... Why does everyone think IWAY is good? Any decent Curses Necro could just slap a Shadow of Fear on them and be done with it. Not to mention people running Aegis chains, and Ward Elementalists.

There is no build that is as easy to counter as IWAY. But people refuse to bring counters.

If I ask in a random team what we are going to do against IWAY they just say: ball up.

That is why IWAY is still around. So please people, bring counters. Bring chain aegis, bring soothing images, bring spiteful spirit,... just SOMETHING.
