Since we have to "share the gold" with the henchmen when doing quests, they need to at least pick it up from time to time. Or perhaps we could just NOT share it with a NPC!

Let's actually put some thought into your comment.

1 player, 7 henchmen. 50 drops of 100 gold.
Suddenly, you have 5 platinum

8 players, 0 henchmen. 50 drops of 100 gold.
Now you only have 625 gold.


Yup, I can see everyone playing with players all the time and not soloing with henchmen to get rich quick.

Well, it's not REALLY taking the items. Okay yah, basically it is. It's the same with having players on drops of items. It's like the enemies dropping invisible items

yea eder is right, imagine if u saw one of the henchmen pick up a rare unid fellblade or crystalline sword max dmg. How bad would you feel?

You don't see the henchmens items anyways, so you wouldn't be seeing them pick up their uber loot. All he wants is them to pick up the gold...I wish they did for me, I don't feel like picking up the gold if I only get 12 pieces of it...

you kill 10 monsters and get your share of the loot (gold) from each monster.

whatever gave you the idea that the henchies were leaving their share of the gold for you?

also if that were the case i would think you would be thanking them for the extra loot instead of complaining.

after all if it is a pain you dont HAVE to pick it up
