At first my goal was to finish the game. Then I did that about six different times, with different characters. Then it was to have perfect or nearly perfect weapons. I did that.

Now, I want to get FOW armor for my warrior. I actually have the materials and gold. Here's the funny thing. Before I had the stuff to get the armor I made the trip to the forgemaster several times, getting into PUGs and just breezing through.

But now I can't get there to save my life. Now that I have what I need I have failed - I think this is right - five times in a row. One time because it was a bad group, three times because of leavers, and one time because the monks got into an incredible argument (with each other) and - while they argued - we died.

I'm jinxed, grin.

What I've done

Finished the main PvE campaign with one character
Travelled around most of FoW and a lot of the UW
Got decent armour & runes for my three PvE characters
Got decent weapons for my three PvE characters
Unlocked the skills "I want" for my professions
Saved up a fair amount of money
Joined a good guild (community-spirit v. good)
Made some good friends
Saved up lots of Halloween items for crazy fun in the future

What I've yet to do

Finish the main PvE campaign with all of my characters
Finish the Titan quests with at least one of my characters
Complete "Final Assault" in Sorrow's Furnace
Save up even more money to provide for Chapter 2 expenditure
Win HoH once (not so important to me)

At the moment, these are my goals:

Finish the game with my Monk (all quests, missions and bonuses)
Get Fissure of Woe armour for my Monk
Finish the game with my Mesmer (all quests, missions and bonuses)
Get 15k armour for my Mesmer
Save up a couple of 100k for Chapter 2
Reach Rank 9 (yay for 23 Fame)

Hmm, that's about it. At the moment I'm only concentrating on Fissure armour for my Monk and getting my Mesmer ascended. Ectoplasm is so expensive, and doing an UW run with Guildies usually only yields two or three, those usually not for myself.

accomplished:

finished the game with my warrior and my ele.
got 15k armor for my warrior, ele, and monk.
can 2 person uw farm
been to fow and gotten a shard

still to do:

-finish the game with my monk and ranger, and start a mesmer and necro on my second account.
-get 15k armor for my ranger
-get fow armor for my monk(a very long term goal....)
-farm sorrows furnace
-do all the missions in sorrows furnace
-do all the glint missions
-defeat glint
...i think i'll stop now..i really cant figure out those people that say they have nothing left to do in gw.

1) To create a farming character, W/Mo, Mo/W, don't care, but to actually make it to level 20 without getting so bored that I delete it before I can farm with it.

2) To finish my 15k armor collection on my Necros (male and female) and then to get them both FoW armor.

3) To get into a PvE guild that isn't filled with morons for once.

Goals? Sure. But to quote "Dodgeball" I find living without goals makes you never dissapointed with what comes your way!

1. Have fun. Thats why it's called a game, and hence why I play them. <done>

1. Get a HoD sword.
2. Keep my 4 Rockmolders stored, and don't sell them because the price is so damn good.
3. Get rank 6 (the Rank 9 emote is hidious, and Rank 12, even if I like the looks, is way too hard to get).
4. Let more real-life friends play this game.
5. Complete the map and all bonusses with my main character (almost there).
6. Finish the Titan quest (I simply can't find a group for the 'Defend North Kryta Province' part.
7. Get a lvl 20 Pre-Searing character (even though I won't ever make it, it's still my dream ).
8. AND MOST OF ALL: Teach sucky Monks how to play (probably starting a guild for this, just for fun), since I can't stand the noobs.

2) try to get my friends to play this game - failed (none of my friends play computer games, hard enough to get them to play consule games
3) get 15k for all my chars (pve)

obviously you mgiht have issues cos fo the whole no rank thing but how can you say no one takes rangers in tombs????

apart from Warrior/Rangers, rangers are the most common charcter class in tombs!

got ranger spiker, intterupt rangers, oath shot spirit spammer and most commonly, trappers. seems like just about every team i see includes one of the buggers.

unless of course you're one of the people who refuse to change their build for the team cos they have a super 1337 build and they're not gonna change for anyone and then wonder why they don't get into teams.

Ive done quite a bit so far.

Whats left to do:
Finish all quests and bonuses.
Find a Perfect Staff for my Ele.
Get Obsidian Armour for my Ele.
I Have all the materials including 105ecto/shards. Still no luck getting to Forgemaster, the groups I'm in cant control aggro or just plain suck, I mean who the hell talks to the ghost without killing "anything" first.
God if you can pay someone to run you to the forgenaster I would give the guy 100k.

I don't have time to nail this game all the live long day so my aims are pretty simple:

1. Get as far with each type of profession in PvE as I can; Completed with Monk and Warrior already. I was bored with my Mesmer so not going to finish it with her.
2. Get 15k armor for my monk (black dyed) with the best items for how I like playing (done now thanks to famring sf)
3. Make a trapper ranger to do UW with (just reached crytaline desert with current one)
4. Get round to giving PvP and GvG a proper go
