i agree with no hierarchy , post counters lead to spamers , you can spam without post counter ... imo less people will spam now ...
in a forum of role players , everybody wants to reach max level .. grinding , farming , spaming ...

No need for any of that heirarchy stuff. I bet some of you were the kind that would read their rank before their name heh. Besides, separates the men from the boys? The game handles that, heh.
BTW, Post count doesn't make someone better, it just means you posted more than others. I consider the join date to be a better way of telling someone how long you've been here and the knowledge youve recieved during that period, than some ranking system.

The best way to know someone's contribution to the board as a whole is to read their post history. I do that a few times when I'm assessing a poster's validity
