ATTENTION MODERATORS: Either enforce the 640 pixel width limit or get rid of it
John TrickKnee
Most in-post images posted are 1280 pixels wide. A rule that isn't enforced is no rule at all.
Oh, since this is a screenshot forum, I guess I should put one in here. I WOULDN'T WANT TO VIOLATE THE FORUM RULES.

Or the people could make a link to the picture of it's original size =P

Even better...make thumbnail from the original picture which also acts like a link to the original size picture when you click it. Although I don't know if this forum supports such feature.

Or just require high res topics to be marked in the title. I don't see why there shouldn't be better quality pics allowed. (The forum load issue can be fixed with a single press of the F5 button)

The thumbnails thing obviously works as I've seen some people use it (in the "pretty backgrounds" thread there are several, for instance) - but I don't know how. If someone could explain how it's done, I'd be happy to use it in the future.

I think it's a service provided by imageshack. If you upload a pic it should have a text that you can cut-paste to here that'll make it work out.
Don't quote me on that though

The only admin that used to enforce the rule was Discordia, and I haven't seen her in ages. So nobody ever looks over this board anymore. I don't mind the large images though, no sweat on my end.
