Customizing weapons

Do most of you guys customize your weapons? I know that you can't really re-sell them once you've customized them but I guess what I'm asking is..Is it worth the trouble to customize? I'm a Ranger/Mes and I just found a green max damage stinger bow. I don't really plan on selling it, should I customize?

I don't customize my items because I have two younger brothers that I will be giving my items too. If you really don't plan on changing characters, go ahead and customize it. It's not THAT big of a deal, it's going to help you out anyways. Besides, more likely than not, you're going to end up with better items in the future. So why not?

If you're a Ranger or a Warrior and it's the weapon you're using then you really should be customizing it. 20% is a huge boost to your attack. However, I see no reason for casters to customize. I know that doesn't apply to you, but it bugs me when casters get hung up on their weapon's damage stat, as though that's what's going to make or break them.

I customize all my weapons. On the one hand, I like the 20% damage boost. On the other hand (bing, bing), it prevents others from using my items.

Stinger bows are a bit of a hard sell anyway...if you plan on actually doing damage with your bow, then yes, it'll be worth the 10g.

Absolutely, positively if you USE the weapon regularly, you should customize it.

If you are collecting the item or using it for resale, then no.

I personally don't understand the latter, but if that floats your boat (especially if the game is getting old for you), then by all means...
