I'm not sure whether I have more fun on a ranger or a warrior. Warrior can be frustrating since you have to depend on everyone around you, and rangers, or flag runners in general are rather fun to play, but...

My first character was a Ranger/Mesmer and I love her dearly. I've finished the main missions with her; all that's left now are the quest and doing stuff in UW/FoW.
I'm currently working on leveling up my second character, a Monk/Elementalist. I love being a monk, despite the abuse and although I use very little Ele skills, I like playing with those too. My third character is probably going to be an Ele.
Overall, I gotta say my favorite class is the Monk.

I've played as primary Ele, Mes, and Warrior, and for the most enjoyment, I have to go with Ele (Hydro all the way--they never see it coming).

3. Mesmer (Making someone useless is so fun)
4. Warrior ( Hack and slash gets boring after a while)
5. Ranger (dont have much experience with it, #5 by default)
6. Monk (I hate noobs that bitch at you to heal them, my new monk will be smite only once I get enough skills. Might raise ranking later)

PvE: Necro. Simple, easy, and near-limitless energy to cast what I want.
PvP: Warrior. So many counters to the class, yet with proper support it can be an absolutely brutal, in your face, day wrecker. Be nice to see Swords get some love though, pretty gimped weapon imo.

First character I ever made was a R/Me in the WPE. Yes. That was before the giant ranger nerf. Back when power shot did like +50 damage or something like that. They were so incredibly broken.
But then came the great nerf.
I like Mesmers the best. Manipulating people's energy is the best.
