Hi

I have a sad Story and a funny one.

First the sad:

-A-Net banned my guild "Castle Ghayskull" [ghay] we were rank3.

but we created a new guild: "We Just Wanna Play [play]

there u can read why we get banned.
But why is gay bad?? i thought its normal.

and the ladder gives us a message, a funny one

I doubt it was reliegious in any way that the action was taken. I had gay people getting offended when I say the word gay in any context/phrase/saying/etc. They are just that sensitive I guess.

Yea, about the name arrangement... that would be really funny if it ever happen... The all powerful is interventing by giving us a message in the GW ladder!!

Awww man... some folks REALLY should stop being so damn paranoid about names/tags and stuff like that. With all the languages around you're bound to get something that might resemble something offensive in one of the languages people play in.

I was playing around with the name "Sinnlos Planlos" which would be "Useless, Clueless" in english. Well... in one of those languages in europe (dunno which) this also resembled something along the lines "you're a wh*re". Guess what... i had someone whispering me he would report my moronic ass....

It is downright impossible to come up with a name or a tag that doesn't remind a random person of something remotely rude.

It feels like all it needs is one random pissed off moron with enough time on his hands to get you/your character banned from the game. Sorry, i would never have read "gay" out of that tag. It's ghay for gods sake. ghay not gay. If some random folks want to make gay out of it, that is totally THEIR problem.

I agree with Anet. I don't personally find Castle Ghayskull particularly offensive or that funny, but I know I don't want a team named like that representing America for the world championships. :/
