Australian girl gonna be playing soon, need some help ^^

Okie ^^ I'm gonna be playing soon, and yes i am a girl lol. The game looks cool to me, played FFXI / RO / WoW so I kinda know the whole mmorpg thing Been reading up on the game too so I know a lil.

I'm from australia, i'm 19 too, so I was hoping to find the right server to which all the aussie ppl are playing. Nothing against americans either, just dif times. Don't wanna pick a random server and be stuck with it.

I wanna know if I could possibly join a good guild out there too And know some ppl when I get on, cause I know how hard that can be, log on and be in the middle of a green field with no one on the friends list.

Any info or tips would be great Thankyou

There are no servers. Its one big server where we all play on But, dont quote me on that. I think that is correct. Well, there you go, the poster below me has explained the servers

The first part of the game is mostly solo play, so use this time to figure out everything, take your time, there is no rush to be uber l33t and be 20 first. You will make mates as you play. You also have to remember, most everyone is new, so the community is not really up and running yet, but it will as more people come along.

Just enjoy the game. If you need any help send me a tell, as a fellow Aussie

GST has gone to the Euro server, mainly cause it probably isn't so crowded (which sometimes can be a pain, also noting that most people speak alot of different languages other then Ingrish. But I got a german girlfriend, so I can get her to translate some :>). Most of the guild lives in Europe anyway, aside from a few which live in Canada, US and Australia.

Unfortunately for me, they put me onto the US server first without asking questions, so I had to use up one of my changeover points to get to Euro :< For us Aussies though, we can pretty much swing either way as we're between both.

ah okie. Thats cool about 1 server. Easier to handle and stuff. Bad tho cause ya can only create 4 chars :/ lol On the other games, i've made a few chars, probably more then 4, so this might teach me not to hang onto everyone of them lol.

I might go on the US servers. The whole cloak thing too for guilds looks cool. WoW has the tabard thing which is cool. I take it you design it by bg, border, bg image faded and then the symbol and colour. Ohoh and where can I find a list of emotes? I haven't stumbled across them yet on the net, wondered if someone has made a post or anything. Lol i know emotes arn't too important, but they still matter when chatting ^^ Do they have animations and sounds too? Probably would since it's a common thing in mmorpgs
