Nolani Academy & Ruins of Surmia BONUSes
gwden
Has anyone completed the bonus on either nolani or surmia coop missions? If so, please share how do to them. I found the people that give bonus in both, but in both I don't know what to do after.

I'm pretty sure I have done both - refresh my memory as to what they were, and I will tell you what I did.

I don't remember the ruins one but the nolani bonus is to return the cursed book to it's altar. You can find it by keeping left as you come out of the winding path. The guy with the book is part way down a ravine. you then take the book further away from where you complete the main mission to the graveyard. You'll have to fight through ghosts (not their names but I can't remember the right one) to get to the altar. Once the book is on the altar the ghosts stop attacking and you get your bonus

I think I remember the Surmia one... I think it's the one where you must return this dead guy's armor to him. There are 4 pieces, and you will find them all in wreckage IIRC. So basically just explore all over.

The Nolani academy Mission is the one where you have to return the book. Make sure you do it before destroying the Charr, or else you won't have time to unless you want to leave Rurik by himself. The Ghosts are level 10, and they can be pretty deadly if you pull more than 3 or 4 at a time.
The Surmia Bonus is the one where you have to kill all the flame keepers. The guy you talk to is right after the part where you have to lower the drawbridge. If you go down to the waters you'll see a green dot, which is a sentry being trapped inside a jailcell. Free him and he'll tell you to follow the flame keepers into the flame corridor and kill the flame keepers there. The key here is to not kill the flame bearers until they make it all the way to the flame corridor and the Charr inside open up the gates. If you do, then you won't be able to access the Flame Corridor and you won't be able to complete the bonus.

For Mission #3: You'll find a guy near the bridge, after Rurik pauses, who will tell you to find the Flame Corridor and destroy the Flame Keepers. Four Ember Bearers will spawn. The trick is to NOT kill these guys right away, and to follow them to their destination. They will open a door and allow you to proceed to the Flame Keepers.
So the trick is to not kill the guys.

Nolani is where you gotta bring the book somewhere.
Surmia is where you have to extinguish some flames? O_O

Whoops yep these guys are right, it's the Flame Keeper one. Be aware that these guys are probably the toughest fight in the whole Surmia mission. The Flame Keepers have some kind of attack that does mega damage. They dropped the NPCs so fast I didn't even get a chance to see what hit 'em lol.
SnowDragon
I've tried talking to that Warmaster Casana NPC, but he didn't give me any book? I've tried it a couple of times already. Anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong?
SnowDragon
Correction, I've found the guy. It wasn't Warmaster Casana - it was Watchman Pramas, he has a green exclamation on his head.
