Yes, you guessed it, it's a -9.2 energy pip denial build and what's more, it's quite damaging too. [no stance can avoid it and only enchantment stacking can defend against it...] FGJ is expensive and since enchantments are almost always on the field, you can use Drain Enchantment to get your energy back. [gotta feed Seeking Blade somehow right? ^_^] Final Thrust isn't spammable effectively so all your adrenaline can feed Fear Me!!
By using Echo on Fear Me!! with FGJ, you're effectively draining 6 energy every ~2 seconds = 18e. every 6s. or about 9pips e. degen. Every class will be reduced to 0 even with an energy manager. Using focii switching is useless. Since it's AoE, you can turn the entire team's energy to nothing if it's on the Dias. LOL...
Seeking Blade is great for those pesky stance users and punishes accordingly. You can bring Wild Blow if you wish, but Seeking punishes Wards effectively as well...
Hexes and conditions turn u to nothing, but hopefully your monk can stuff it. Your thoughts?

Yukito - you have an absolute love affair with Fear Me, don't you?
Racthoh
Always wanted to toy around with Echo and Fear Me, I think I may have to try this. Consider it is a sword build afterall, yahoo.

Nice but if your talking PvP, I will just nock you down with my Hammer W, and when you get up, I'll put you on your @$$ again. Good luck casting down there. But if it's PvE, then I'll just eat my words and say that looks good to me.

No, if your attacking another warrior in pvp, you will get your ass handed to you.
Get your mesmer to cast soothing images, theres your ticket. But this isnt and shouldnt be a discussion about counters, it just degrades into a vs discussion with no end.

Like rii said, Warriors countering other Warriors is just stupid.
You couldArcane Echo your Echo. I'm not sure how it would work on this build though.
Another build based off of Fear Me! I'm not surprised. Pretty nice.

Surely a better idea would be to arcane echo echo, then just echo fear me, saving the other echo for the end of the 20s duration. Then, a near constant stream of echoed fear me!s will be achieved.
Pharalon
You're aware the FGJ dosn't double adren gain? It's only 150%. And personally I don't like echoed Fear Me. 2 4A shouts tend to interfere with each others adrenaline pools too much for it to be anywhere near as efficient as it needs to be.
Yukito Kunisaki
With FGJ, I think you mean 2 2a shouts [approximately...]
Pharalon
FGJ will make Fear Me charge in 3 hits. That mean's you'll fire off a fear me on every 3rd and 4th strike. That's 6e every 4 strikes. It'll also take an age for Final thrust to charge spamming shouts that much, without an elite damage skill, you're hurting a bit for damage. I'm not saying it's not solid, just not something I would run.
Forrin
Would be nice if you could fit "to the limit!" in there. Maybe you could switch to axe and throw in cyclone axe for extra adrenaline. You'll be doing a bit less damage sure, but isn't the primary purpose of this build energy denial?
I also suggest replacing sprint with rush. You'll have plenty adrenaline and this way you'll have a bit more energy.

I remember Echoed FearMe warriors were played by n0 back in last beta/release days. Seemed to work well.
Xasew
Old build and was quite powerful if you had 2-3 of these. Fear Me got nerfed now, so even though it won't be as powerful, it' still quite nice.

There is a way that focus switching should work against this. It revolves around the idea that Fear Me and other energy denial techniques will not drain you below zero energy. It works like this:
Have one of the big 27/-1/30 offhands, but DON'T equip it. Use your normal energy, until it is drained by energy denial (Fear Me, etc). Then switch to your Big Focus and quickly cast a spell or two.
At this point, your focus is drained.
Here's the trick, once your focus is drained, switch back to your normal focus. Your energy will display as zero, but in actuality you will now have negative energy.
Your pips of regen will continue to refill your focus until it reaches zero. When the focus is recharged your energy display will begin to climb again, at this point you can switch back to the focus and cast again.
Fear Me and other energy denial strategies won't drain you below zero, so your can accumulate 'negative' energy, and switch it in when needed.

Waiting for your negative Energy to 'regen' past 0 is the dumbest thing I've heard... Sure Fear Me can't get to it, but in either case, you look at 2x Fear Me! spam vs. things like Malaise and Wither... [my mistakes ;_;]
Ok, so now I've got 2-4 casters on the enemy team [who are smart enough to stand near, but not adjacent to each other] switching focii and regenerating past 0 energy???
Uh yeah, that's really inefficient... [yay for Ward AoE]

Well, yea, you're dead no doubt. I don't really propose it as a counter to your strategy. It's just better than being parked at 0 energy waiting to die.
I doubt that it's the dumbest thing you've heard, given the crowd around here.

I believe the area on "Fear me!" was nerfed, was it not?
rii
Its still reasonable... nearby.... i think thats ward range.
Shynai_The_Storm
Great job on this build, I like the idea. I've been testing it a bit and it seems very promising
Neo-LD
not sure about n0, but i do know that echo-fear me was used by the fianna on the last bwe. I saw the build and was like zomg this is gunna pwnzorz... but in the end it didnt seem to work that well. The damage he puts out is ok but is nowhere near a dedicated damage warrior. In that light all he ends up doing is walking around sucking up energy, which is fine, but with a balanced team dedicating 3 people to monk, a couple to interupt and shutdown, i dont know if i want to take yet another person off of offense.
However, I think this would definately own things in arena.

It is true Final Thrust will take a few hours to max up, but it's ONLY good if the enemy's hp is below 50%.
Since this build wittles at you by using Seeking Blade and the like, It's only building adrenaline for 3 skills. When the energy in a caster's area hits 0... It's not so easy to heal yourself now is it? ^_^
When it dips even a little bit, BLAM... 164+ dmg if you're lucky...
If Final Strike is too much, I suppose Galrath could make up for it.

Umm yes, yes you can arcane echo echo then echo the fear me and then echo it again. Try reading who the skills work and then try it. Don't have echo personally(never have gotten around to it, my builds havent needed it) but one of my exguild members did this and he was certainly putting out more than 2 Fear Me!s every couple hits
smurfhunter
ive been trying several fear me spam builds... and the most annoying thing is i have no idea how much my 'fear me' shout is doing. like it would be just awesome if the person i was using fear me on would tell me how much it did, otherwise its just sort of hard to tell...
i cant wait for the time when they put an arena ish thing into your gh so you can play against people in your guild....

The energy drained by fear me is in the skill itself. ALSO when u do it, any enemy within it's range will have a purple -3 pop out of them...
rii
I suggested a damage number for energy. AND you LLaughed! Laughed AI SaY!!!!!! *dribbles*
Fear me is the bomb.
