I'd say Charm Animal.
It's weird, because I always have it on my skillbar, and yet I can only remember using it on two different occasions in almost 500 hours of play..

Ressurection signet, lol j/k.
I'd say purge signet is pretty underused.

ogtayus cry by far. As far as I know it only works on wild animals. So this makes it a pve only and extremly situational. If this effected all pets and animals then it would make IWAY so much harder for them to use. But as it stands it is most useless. By the time you get it you can have up to 4 lvl 5s beating on a lvl 14 which with promtly smash them. Whats the point?
Levi Garett
After the nerf? Prot bond. It's totally useless now. Well it has a use but it sucks using it and will eat your poor mana alive
Kakumei
i like how otyugh's cry was misspelled in three different ways in this thread already
but yeah it's probably the most useless

super dooper
un-used, not worthless or useless. but yeah.. otyugh's cry, don't think i've ever seen it used, and i've never used it myself.
Shanaeri Rynale
Sits back and waits for otyugh's cry teams to become the next tour de force in tombs and HoH...
Ollj
good old days when hammers have ben the most underused weapon and noone ever even considered taking a pet in the tombs.
Here's a build i love, it covers the most unused skills and works nicely, and on top it is a:
Warrior/Monk
10+1 Strenght:
Battle Rage
11+4 axe Mastery:
Disrupting Chop
Dismember
Penetrating Blow
Executioner's Strike
Axe Rake
Axe Twist
(just remove one of theese axe skills. (or 2 to bring a res signet...)
10 smiting:
Holy Wrath
0 Monk General:
Purge Signet
cast 2 holy wrath's on primary targets and enjoy staying at 0 energy all the time.

I actually saw a R/E use Cry the other day so....
Mantra of Earth
Mantra of Earth

New skill description for Otyugh's Cry.
Otyugh's Cry (Shout): For the next 5...30 seconds all nearby allies and enemies stop what they're doing and laugh uncontrollably and you become dazed and crippled for 30...60 seconds.

I used Otyugh's Cry once and wasn't impressed. You never find multiple non-hostile animals grouped close enough together to get more than one fighting for you, and they don't do much damange before they die.
I'd have to say that I find Revive Animal nearly useless as well. The reason is that while it's supposed to have an area effect, you have to stand right on top of a dead animal to revive it! (WTF?) Comfort Animal has a very long range by comparison, even if it only revives your own pet.

I use Mantra of Earth all the time! I have a Warrior/Mesmer that uses it mostly in the jungle/desert regions of the game. It's invaluable against thorn stalkers and dust elementals!
MSecorsky
I gave Otyugh's a try once just for gits and shiggles... glaring problem was the fact that you have this small handful of lvl 5 animals attacking lvl 20+ monsters... most ineffective.
bobrath
I consider Otyughs cry to be good for one thing... creating corpses next to my opponents for Putrid explosion or wells.
EternalTempest
This game (by the dev's) is compared to magic the gathering. Today's useless skill + future skill & zone = greatness. This happened with many magic cards and future expasion.
Do have to agree with Otyughs for now

I used to find Otyugh's Cry to be the most worthless skill, until I relized I was understanding it wrong. Sure, it seems like it would be used to call for the aid of the lvl 5 critters about, but really, it's just meant to give your pet +20 armor when you need it to tank for ya (soloing or leveling the pet). In normal play I'd say it's pretty useless, but it does at least have a place somewhere.
Rust on the other hand... oh dear Rust... Let's slow -not even stop, mind you, just slow- some mildly annoying skills that will, at worst, delay the inevitable a second or two more. Ugh.

One of these days I'm going to make a hydromancer with rust and bring him into random arenas where I can totally screw over the W/Mo "tanks" that sit there with gladiator's defense up and heal with their mending and heal sig after the rest of their team has died.
They wont feel so uber that they can tank 4 people when their heal sig takes 6 seconds to use :P

And Healing Signet is simply ridiculous when rusted.
stefan16
yes rust rocks, altough i never use it
Jenosavel
Ah, most of what Rust does, even the worst of interrupters can trump. Since I never leave home without at least one interrupt, I may be biased.
pyrohex
I think we as a community need to find a way to make some skills marginally useful. Possibly something like a Ruster, as described above, or...uh - yeah. You get my drift.

Definitely O's Cry. but you know, I just thought of something.... In the Defend Denravi titan quest, all those trolls and stuff go running by you at the beginning. I wonder if it would work on them. If so that would be pretty cool. Anyone got a ranger to try it out?
I may post this somewhere else too.
