I have recently done some thnking on ways to improve IWAY since it is my primary source of faction and all the unlocked skills it brings.
Something I came up with before I got bored was that if your necros took rend enchantments and a w/r brought symbiosis you're team would get an increase of 303 hp (lvl 9 beast mastery). I thought about how the other team would get similiar gains but decided it's possibly a good thing. I was thinking that the necros could just rend them and then with the hits from the one or two people (and the damage they'd done in the previous 3 seconds) on the target they'd die less than a second after they got rended. With most of their people having 600+ hp i don't even think the monks would seriously thing the person needed healing before it was too late.
Why isn't this used in IWAY? Could anyone explain how this doesn't work? As far as I can tell all of the anti IWAY skills out there would just make it so they're off gaurd and easier to kill. With two necros, two spiking groups of two, and a group of two chasing people around they'd be two members short in maybe 7-8 seconds after the pets die.
Symbiosis in IWAY

Symbiosis are used in IWAY builds. I've seen a couple of groups using it the last time I tombed. Maybe there just an organized group.

Indeed, there seems to be the organised IWAY, and the PUG IWAY.
The PUG IWAY is easy as hell to beat; we beat 'em everytime with whichever build we are using: we simply play smarter.
Proper IWAY, however, is difficult to beat. I played an IWAY team yesterday that had Energizing Wind, Predatory Season, Winnowing, and Nature's Renewal. They all had level 5 pets, somehow spread disease amoungest themselves which killed their pets quicker, IWAYed them, the Necros used Matyr, and Restore Conditions, Rasied Bone Minions, and all this before the battle began. Professional IWAY.

Thank you, that's nice to know.
Dont Look At My
...
don't tell me you didn't know that professional IWAY teams kill their pets ...
It's all about it. As you dont have 3monks in the team, the necros keep alive by their Minions raised, the warriors do with their IWAY-skill and its just all about that skill. You could call it an exploit, but in fact its only a smart tactic.
the IWAY has just one really bad negative side. If you can't get the ennemi down somehow, you're RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOed, because of the long-time healing. The ennemis keep killing your necros/monks and then will go on you.
But thats only the case if you can't get them down.

We run a modified IWAY that is far better than PUG IWAY, but not quite as well run as the one Blitzkrieg speaks of. There *is* a strategy beyond zerg rush in a good well-organized IWAY. We run a multitude of spirits, both to help us and to hurt them.
