Request for comments about W/E build

I'm wondering if this is a good generic build for both PvE and PvP:

W/E

Air: 9
Strength: 9+1
Axe: 12+3
Tactics: 3+2

Gear:

15K glads, 15k ascalon helm (for dmg reduction), major vigor, major absorb

Shocking chaos axe of fortitude, 6-28, req 8, health +21
Defender, armor 16, req 8 strength, dmg -1 while enchanted

Alternate axe (I'm not sure which one would be better to use - I'd need to get another shocking haft to use it with CL):
Hand axe of axe mastery, 6-28, req 12, dmg +14%>50, axe +1 16%

Skills:

Conjure Lightning (to give dmg bonus with every swing)
Whirlwind (for knockdowns/interrupts)
Berserker Stance (to build adrenaline, and produce more swings for synergy with CL)
Eviscerate
Executioner's Strike (combine these two for dmg spike)
Cyclone Axe
Sprint
Bonetti's Defense

Problems I see:

- I'm not really a tank, since I only have one defensive skill, and I'm losing HP due to superior axe rune.
- Completely reliant on monk for healing.
- I should probably swap in the +1 axe helm, but it just looks like ass, so I haven't (color me vain).
- No rez.

Thoughts? Comments? Would you want this on your team? In your party?

I have yet to venture into PvP, but I thought I'd try it out with this.

Thank you.

I suppose a viable alternative to maximize dmg output would be to go fire instead of air:

- Swap 9 air for 9 fire
- Get fiery haft for axe
- Swap Conjure Lighting for Conjure Fire
- Swap Inferno for Whirlwind

Do you think this would be an improvement?

Thank you.

By being vain, you're detrimental to a team. My armor is the most 'unique' in the game, yet I resist damage better than any other warrior... Chimera Armor custom set ftw!!! If you have sprint, you don't belong in pve. No enemies run from you in pve. There is no warrior build in existance that can do BOTH pve & pvp so make up your mind. ^_^

You want fire Axe user?
Air Axe user?

PvP or PvE. Pick one, there's no way you'll ever be able to do both due to two key elements.

Sprint
Frenzy

OK - so how about two versions:

PvE version

- Swap in +1 axe helm
- Swap in Power Attack or Disrupting Chop for Sprint

PvP version

- Swap in +1 axe helm

I'm leaving out Frenzy because I've got Berserker Stance - this seems the better of the two to me (no increased dmg, but you can't spam BS the way you can Frenzy). Am I so wrong here?

Thoughts?

Beserker Stance's recharge is what kills it. Frenzy, while giving you double damage, can be used constantly. You can use Sprint as soon as you take damage to cancel Frenzy.

Thoughts? Ok, Power Attack sucks. It stinks, plain and simple. Bring in Bonetti's Defense instead of Sprint. If your'e doing your job, the entire enemy force is on you in pve. In PvE, you WANT to be a tank, there's quite a few skills that can help you accomplish this. If you want to do damage, a repeated use of Cyclone Axe with Whirlwind will both damage them and protect you...

PvP

I suppose you don't want to acquire high dps. Berserker's ends when you do a skill so your increased attack speed can ONLY benefit your adrenaline, not your spike damage. Axes should be used for sudden spikes OR sustained dps. BS works against both... It's also unspammable so that works against your damage.

Frenzy is great because it's spammable, can be on you 100% of them time, and you can control your foes into tanking them. How? Use sprint the moment you get hit with a single shot that does more than 50dmg... Blam, you're now in high foot speed mode, and tanking the enemy team. GJ.
