5K On that there piece
Jetdoc
Wow...I'd say at least 300K, but probably much, much more to the right buyer.
Blue Steel
I think Jetdoc is about right. Before Malinon's shield existed, you could have sold that shield for a nice 7 figure sum, but now I would put it at 333,333 gold and 3 dwarven ales. But also like Jetdoc implied, if you manage to get two rich people fighting over it, twice that amount is not out of the question at all.
fondie
Malinon's shield is tactics thoough LBS
Blue Steel
That's true, fondie, but it doesn't change my analysis. The economy is a living fabric, an interconnected tapestry of supply, demand, and potential alternatives; it is a fluid system when one dramatic change causes ripples throughout very different commodities . . .
fondie
Holy crap!
Jetdoc
Wow...very convoluted of you, LBS...
Seriously, all 40+ health/-2 enchanted shields have taken a beating since the introduction of Malinon's shield, because many who were looking for those two stats can readily obtain that shield for relatively cheap.
Although strength shields are a different breed than tactics shields, the demand for ANY of these shields has decreased. Fewer buyers generally mean the price goes down, even for this beautiful shield.

Man, I vote for this guy to be Mod! Very well put.
As for the shield, i say 370K, no less. 10 req is usable, 44/2 1 hp away from perfect.
fondie
Thanks for your opinions, though if you are correct is definately not worth selling imo.
Ruoenkruez Tudor
i'll offer 100k
Knight of Eternal Darknes
Tactics shield suck, yeah the economy has changed quite a bit that req 12 43/-2 shadow was at like 700k before this but it still would probably sell for quite a bit still. Strengths Shields>Tactics Shields

Chill out Kassad. English is not his primary language...I'm sure you couldn't type in Dutch too well.
edit: Heh, Rau got to you first...
Nice shield BTW. I'd spend a crapload on it if I had the money, and if all str-based shields didn't look so uber-gay (yes even the highly-sought after Eternals look gay to me, and are so damn common, I wouldn't even think about spending hundreds of plat on a nice one). Shadows are the most decent looking though, IMO. And not so over-played vs. the others.
I couldn't PC that tho...I always seem to be off and end up asking others for PC's myself. But then again I can't understand why you would buy the shield for 250K and ask for a PC? Doesn't that mean it's worth 250K to ya?
If you are going to resell it...then just jack up the price and hope someone buys it...why get a public PC? But if I were you, and had a strength warrior, I would just use that sexy bit of shadowy goodness. Not going to get much better...
This is the biggest load of crap I've ever read, lol. I think you mean Tactics itself, and not Tactics shields...besides, even that is opinion. Sure if all you even do is PvP, Tactics might not be your cup o' tea. But not everyone plays or even likes PvP as it stands right now...so, yeah.
Not that I am a Tactics advocate, but I figured I could lower my str to 9 instead of 10 and have a non gay looking shield to wield on my character...plus use the occasional Bonetti's Defense.

I wanted a PC because I haven't seen a shield like this for sale for a long time (and have seen very few for sale in total), and in case I ever wanted to trade for something else I liked.
