Tribal Axe question

Well I've heard that tribal axes are pretty rare to come by... maybe its true and maybe it isn't. Anyways I've recently stumbled upon one, though its pretty crappy. 6-16 dmg (req. 4) with +10% dmg>50. My question is this: should I keep it because its worth a lot or should I just sell it? The reason why I ask this is because a while ago I found a sickle which I'm pretty sure was over 20 dmg, but I thought it was crap so I sold it to a merchant. I learned later on that sickles are pretty much the rarest items in the game and that they can be worth a lot, even with low dmg. So I do not make the same mistake twice, are tribal axes worth a lot as well, because of their rarity/looks and not their mods?

anything thats not max dmg isnt worth to keep imo, and i would never pay for just the look on the weapon anyway

Max Damage anything is better than non-max damage nice looking weapons...

man i would sell it i have 1 also that is low dmg i just sold it they are not as rare as sickles so u wont get anything out of it

My Vote: Sell it.

I get non-max sickles (not even close to max) and I just sell them. I have a Chaos Axe that is about 2 off from max (I think it's 6 -26) and it's not worth anything really either. With the advent of green items and better gold drops, it is really hard to sell off items. Another instance that came to mind is I've had 2 non-fellblades. I sold one for 800g and the other I salvaged and got lucky and got rare crafting materials which was better money for the time spent.

You might be able to get a few hundred for it, but you have to decide if it's really even worth the time and all the people who will ask to see it, then tell you they don't want it, or how crappy it is, and then blah blah blah. You know what I mean?

If you are a merchant type, then save it and try and get a few bucks for it, other than that, sell it to the merchant.

I'd at the very least just hold onto it and see what others are paying for it; I have no idea what the market is on Tribals right now. (I guess that's what you're doing right now, huh...) Check the trade forum and see what's going on there.
