Is it possible to go around?

I had this mixed up idea of trying to get the story Heroes all the way from the War Camp back into Ascalon.

What I need to know is it possible to go around Beacon Pass? I'm mapped the areas I would need to travel through up beyond Beacon and before it. Everywhere but there seems clear to me.

Is there a way around Beacon's?

As far as I'm aware, and according to the maps I have, there is no way to get to Ascalon from the Southern Shiverpeaks without going through Beacon's Pearch. Course ANet might have changed things since I got these maps.. but I doubt it.

Which means there is no way to take the hero's from the Warcamp into Old Ascalon as you'd loose them when you hit Beacon's Pearch ;/

Yeah, it's been tried.

Also, while it's possible (I did it) there's little point in taking the henches from Temple of Ages to do the Lions Arch titan quest. Unless you're a lot better at keeping them alive than my mesmer was.

Although... They might be good for the Ascalon titan quest? One hell of a walk just to find out if 5 henches at lvl 15 is high enough, though...
