So... Has Anyone Ever Encountered the Gigantic Robo-looking Thing from SF yet?

In the previews of SF, there were piccies and videos of a group fighting a boss with this gigantic robo-looking thing. I had no idea what it was, and everyone i talked to had never ever fought it or went to the area where it was located. What is that thing and where do you fight it exactly?

The group never fought the Iron Forgeman, if I recall the preview correctly. It's just background; you'll never directly fight him, although he will do stuff to you. You'll only see him in the final SF quest, named "Final Assault".

It's probably better if you find out yourself. Just do Final Assault, which you get after finishing "To Sorrow's Furnace" from the Dwarven Prospector. And no, you don't reach the Forgeman through gears. The area where the Iron Forgeman is located is blocked off unless you're doing Final Assault.

You can only reach this area of the furnace in the Final Assault mission- you get powder kegs you can use to blast your way in to where he's at.
As for why it's there, it's part of the quest objectives for Final Assault, and it's really cool-looking!
