Not that anyone cares, but I finally captured all the warrior elite skills over the weekend and went on to try and finish my ranger. I had a hard time with capturing Bull Charge because the warrior boss did not spawn often...it was usually the elementalist or necro boss that spawned. Think I had to do perdition rock 30 times. First time he spawned I messed up with the skill capture...duh.

He is a quest mob so pretty sure he only appears if someone is doing the quest plus he isn't lvl 28 anymore he is either 12 or 14 now and also they removed all elite skills pre-ascention so he doesn't even use it anymore.

Ok, might have been posted, can't find it here though

I must say these adapted 'elite skill captures' is realy noobish

--> kill a boss, stand near enough to it, use the capture signet and choose from a list of skills the boss uses which one you want

Anyway, just picked up Hunter Elite 'Punishing Shot'. The way over there was harder than the actual capture. Little hint: it's in Snake Dance. Moving north, you reach a little grotto/passage. If there's a Ranger Boss there, then forget it, and don't go all the way further up north... You'll only find a warrior boss

Wanted to add something heard a rumor that the Pinesoul bosses in Lornar's Pass has the same Skill set as the bosses in the frozen forest.

After hearign this i went to Lornar's pass and checked the closest Boss spot found the Warrior Boss Clobberhusk Killed him with the new soc used it and found defy pain.

The boss spawn can be seen from the entrance to lornars boss just hold alt and look north east. if you dont see a level 28 unique name guy renter.

Also went to the Frozen Forest Ranger Boss he has no Elites.

I only remember seeing the Ranger and Warrior Bosses in Lornar might of seen Monk once so it might be good for only Defy Pain and maybe life Barrier

Update Boss Names:
Warrior: Clobberhusk (Defy Pain Confirmed)
Monk: Quickroot (Life Barrier Maybe?)
Ranger: Poisonbough (if he has same skills as arful Deeproot then no Elite)

Well, dunno if this was said and the page wasnt updated, but Battle Rage is from a troll boss outside of droknars forge up the hill to your left into the cave. there is many trolls.

Can anyone confirm that Grun Galesurge, who holds the Shield of Deflection skill apears in front of the Mursaat fortress in Ring of Fire?

Many of the sites that list skills tsay he can be located there. There are Breeze Keepers there but I've ever seen a boss of any type there, I don't think.

i did this mission maybe 40 times or more for this skill and i never seen the monk boss

We just cleared entire island in abbadon's mouth mission and there was NO boss carrying "restore condition" (i.e. : no dryder-monk boss whatsoever)

Very annoyed as this is the only skill my monk doesn't have.

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but Mossk Rottail in Bloodstone Fen does not have Virulence as stated in the first post.

I don't know the others, but the necro boss from defend droks has Wither. Can't remember his name off the top of my head, but it's listed in the quest description.

I have been reading this thread and what is all this SPamming SoC bullshit? You can just kill his ass and then rob his skill can't you? Unless I am horribly wrong and you have to wait or something.

Yes he is there. He spawns at one of the locations marked as X, randomly. I saw him recently.

He is also there, saw him recently. But this time there is a chance he doesn't spawn at all. The spiders in Abaddon's Mouth are a real pain because they are quite far into the mission (beyond the Mursaat defences), and although there are four spawn locations, there is a chance they don't appear at all. Once I went there and got no bosses! Another time I went and got all three.. so really, just keep doing it until he appears

In the old days (before september 2005 I think) you had to capture a skill while the Boss was still alive. The hard part was that you had to capture his skill at the moment he was using it. If he used a skill directly after using a Elite skill, you can imagine how much errors there were...

I've played GW since june 2005, and always had to kill a boss before capping...

Old thread resurrected. The old days were annoying. You kinda had to "interrupt" the boss's elite skill in order to capture it. Also, I think they didn't have the skill being used bar under the health yet, which made it much more difficult.
