Healing Breeze, Backfire, Empathy, Chaos Storm, Spirit of Failure, Spirit Shackles,Blessed Aura

Go in Cast Backfire, Then Chaos Storm, Then Spirit of Failure, Then Empathy, Then Healing Breeze, and start using Q and E to dodge arrows.

Have all the points you can in Domination.

The best way that I've found is to switch over your attributes to smiting and divine favor. Bring symbol of wrath, balthazar's aura, divine boon, and maybe something like Bane Signet- don't bring any healing spells. Use Balthazar's Aura and Symbol of Wrath to do damage to your mirror, and don't stand in your mirror's symbol(if he switches to melee, you probably won't be able to avoid balthazars). If you need healing, use Divine Boon repeatedly- it will give you somewhere near 100 health per cast at high divine favor.

If you feel like it, you can always throw some into domination or illusion and bring some anti-attacking skills like Empathy or Clumsiness.

Grind is subjective

learn this please

Simply bring Healing Breeze, and nothing else. The doppleganger--at least when I ascended my monk--refused to use it, allowing me to simply wand it to death while using HB to keep myself alive.

If you put lots of points into domination and cast backfire and empathy on him, he will be dead in seconds. No need for any other ( useful) skills. You should take some useless spells that will do no damage so that he takes damage when casting with the backfire on him.

I ascended my Monk/Ele a couple of hours earlier and here's what I used (pure Monk):

Blessed Aura
Divine Boon
Healing Breeze

That's it. I cast all three before the cut scene. Then after the cut scene ended, C + Space to attack. Run up close so the dopple won't use the bow but the melee weapon. Spam Healing Breeze as often as you can and keep attacking the dopple (I'd cast HB as soon as I had enough energy again). It's probably not the fastest way to kill him/her, but it worked and that's all that matters.

I ascended my Me/Mo with max domination, rest in healing, and bringing the skills spirit shackles, mind wrack, and healing breeze. Then I padded the skillbar with every expensive & useless spell I had, for him to waste time on.
The actual combat consisted of me running circles around him to dodge his arrows, while keeping shackles/wrack on him at all times, and occasionally using healing breeze.
Chaos storm probably works well against him too, as does Symbol of Wrath (run in, cast it, run out).

All in all, the fact that he wont move out of AoE spells but you will, and that he wont use healing breeze but you will, makes him very easy to kill.

Max your smiting and bring Holy wrath, Retribution, and Empathy. Then just watch you doppel kill himself.
