Gwens Secrets??

can anybody tell me about gwen all i know is that you give her the flute and she heals you
in Prima Guide it says you give her the cape and some flowers and she may reward you. what does she give you
what the Tapastry thread.

First, I recommend some nice commas and periods. They make it easier to read your posts and keep me from misinterpreting things at 5 am in the morning.

Second, giving Gwen the flute causes her to occasionally heal you for 20 hp or so. Considering the enemies won't/can't attack her, Gwen is the ultimate healer.

Third, if you're nice enough to Gwen through giving enough Red Iris Flowers in one trip, she'll give you a Tapesty Shred, which currently serves no purpose. The Cape is optional.

Fourth, a lot of what the Prima Guide has to say is junk.

Gwen will never be a waste of money.

The Tapestry Shred has no current use. Many players are holding onto them in the hopes of Anet implementing the rest of the Gwen quest, thus causing Shreds to have some value.

i met a guy in Crystal desert he was holding onto Gwens Flute Tapastry thread and the cape he said they was good luck items

There's really nothing else I have to say. I wouldn't factor luck into a computer game.

Chance and luck are different. Chance, where things may go your way or not, happens oh too often in games. Luck, as in where you drag around charms and stuff, is fake. Otherwise, I do have this Tapestry Shred for sale...it should help your runs quite a bit...

you can get gwens broken flute in old ascalon (the broken flute also doesnt serve a purpose) and you can get gwens cape just south of fishermens haven (again no purpose).

This all reminds me of a PUG I was in one time on one of the ascension missions. We'd started off and talked to the hero and while we were standing there one of the other players starts dropping all this crud from inventory onto the ground... broken flute, marking web (from Carlotta in the jungle), and other quest items like that for previous areas. Musta had 5 or 6 inventory slots taken up by the junk, lol.
