there is a quest item in pre searing for along sword that looks like a crystalline if you just want the look.

it alternates between 2 quests, and their outcomes. i know for the one quest, charr at the gate or something, the one where you and rurik whoop the charr at the wall, you can get a crystal looking sword for the reward. however, you have to kill all the charr by yourself, rurik or his buddies can't get a single kill. the other one that you get it from is anotehr one in ascalon city, but i forget which.

i hope sumone could sell that to me~~^^
coz my only char in presearing is a monk....impossible to kill all charr
any more information about the quests or any sword for sell?

dunno if ya know already but the sword u could get from viggo in piken for completing a quest is now available again

i did the quest 1 week ago and he gave me the longsword that looks like a crystalline

The quest was always available, but im hearing that the skin was changed from crystalline to longsword and im pretty sure, 100% that the skin on my low level mesmers reward was... the longsword skin. this was just a few days ago.


OK. ...I just stood in piken for 2 minutes and bought some random persons quest reward for 200g and.. its the longsword skin. She got the reward right in front of me, so it is officially, not handed out anymore in that skin.

^^Thats right, the sword changed its skin after an update about 2 weeks or so ago. It was the crystalline skin called the longsowrod but now it IS the longsword skin.
