Couple questions about CE

First - is it worth the extra $30 for GW CE?
Second - it says CE comes with 3 months of teamspeak - would I really have to then pay to use a mic I payed for?

No, it refers to 3 months free for a hosted teamspeak server.

Is it worth the $30?

The headset is nice, and costs at least $20.

And there's the soundtrack and art book.

So, depends on what you like. If you like extras, then yes, it is.

Depending on where you live, your character gets access to an item(s) that someone who buys the basic game doesn't. So if you wanna feel special for the extra cash I'd say go for it. Although I personally think that a future expansion will more than likely give everyone else access to the same things that you get with the CE. (of course I have been wrong in the past at least once. )
