Yes there should be more weapons that have NO purpose other than laughter.

Currently, flute is the only weapon/offhand/item that you can wear that has no purpose.

Actually, you can wield the broken flute too, and it doesn't give energy, so it's even more pointless.

flute gives +1 energy = useless as there is no skill that onyl costs 1 energy. so its about useless. even the +3 energy items in pre are useless as the spells are only divisable by 5 with the exception of glyph of lesser energy for eles cutting the cost in half, then its rounded to 3, but still need 5 energy to cast the glyph so still kinda useless

...glyph of lesser energy doesn't cut a cost in half, it reduces it by 15

i don't know where you got that at all

Right, so energy storage is useless too, since each point only gives you +3. It would be waaay too unreasonable to think that maybe these things add up....

wasnt talking about energy storage, was talkign about a useless offhand item. think about it, how many people actualyl equip a flute other than for the laugh factor when you can easily step outside and kill something to find a better item that will give u more energy

Well obviously the flute itself is a poor choice of items for off-hand, as just about any other will do everything it does and more.

I was just pointing out one of the many many flaws with your idea that +1 energy itself is not worthwhile since no skills cost 1 energy.

You people missed the point of the thread. It was to discuss items that are for pure enjoyment and nothing else, not to discuss why 1 energy is important.

I don't believe there are any items other than the flute that have a unique graphic that are not for actual gameplay.

maybe make a dark PvE place and get torches... they do 1 dmg and make the enemy go up in flames for a couple of secs... could be nice, but im tired and not thinking straight anyway, so nvm...

I wouldn't mind seeing more things like this too. I have a flute and a broken flute in storage that I take out on adventures when I feel like having some fun.

I wish...I've only seen Necros be able to hold items when they do emotes, and its only /dance...
