Buying short bows, slaying mods, shields, & a preorder.

Alright then! This'll be my new thread for buying things. Please respond only if you have something on the list to offer; I'm well aware of the market (see bottom of post), and unsolicited price check information is not appreciated.

1) Short bows. I'm looking for 13>50 req 9 bows with the short bow skin, paying 5k each; I will accept better of course, but I'm not willing to pay more unless it has a slaying mod. I'm not looking for halfmoons or collectors, and I don't care about mods other than slaying (i.e. your 10/10 sundering bow is still worth 5k to me, please offer it to someone looking for a sundering string if you want more). Still need a couple more of these, but I'm nearly at my limit on them.

2) I'm looking for slaying mods (18%+) for anything other than staves, any mod but skeleton slaying; paying 3-5k per. Please see my list below; if I don't need it it's because I already have it (and no, I'm not interested in selling them).

3) Looking for the European preorder item, the Chimeric Prism. I can offer about 95k ATM, possibly more when I have sufficient funds. Will have to use MCS for the transfer if you have a spare key. Not one to state the obvious, but if you have the item available to your characters now, you've used the key and can't transfer it; and I won't buy an account. Pre-order items themselves are customised and non-transferable.

4) Green metallic shield (usually seen on reinforced buckler; the garbage can lid most people hate) w/ +18% or better in air or earth, possibly water; permanant health or health/-2 while enchanted I'd pay more for. Req of 7-9 tact. Wouldn't mind a max 45/-2 enchanted one either; but I won't pay an arm & a leg for it...having trouble ditching yours talk to me.

5) Shields with no req with AL 8 or better and either permanant health or stanced health & -2 stance with the following looks: Ornate (the orange/black), skeleton, shadow, stone summit & crimson carapace. I realize that the latter 3 might not be available in an unreq'd form (actually the last one is, as "crude"); but occasionally I've seen shields pre-searing with differnet names. Paying 15k for a decent one.

6) Would also be interested in a max storm artifact with req 8-9, +5 AL, +45 hp, +18% +1 skill in air/earth or better. Would pay fairly well for this one.

7) Would also like a storm artifact with 10% recharge to all, 6 or better energy (req does not matter) and one or more of: +5 armor/+5 energy>50/10% casting speed. I've noticed that when you don't have the req for a collector or green, you only get 3 energy, but you'll get a full 6 for a dropped. I'll pay 15k or more for this depending on how good.

8) I need a pair of 15>50 max shortbows with req 9 or less; paying 30k for a clean or 40k for a +30 fortitude; 50k if req 8. No other mods are of interest and I place 0 value on a sundering string.

Have recently aquired the following, so won't be needed them. I would also like to state that I vastly prefer the mod itself to a weapon containing said mod; I've blown up 3 already so I don't really trust myself at this point.

Sword pommels:
Deathbane,dwarfslaying, giantslaying, pruning, tenguslaying, trollslaying

Bow Grips:
Dwarfslaying, pruning, tenguslaying, trollslaying (thanks Rel)

Axe Grips:
Charrslaying, deathbane, dwarfslaying, giantslaying

Hammer Grips:
Charrslaying, deathbane, pruning, tenguslaying, trollslaying

I have the same short bow I offered last thread. It is 12>50 with an 8 req.

As we all said in that thread you probably aren't going to get what you want for the price you are offering. I will sell this one for 7500.

If you are willing to pay more you should be willing to pay more for the base bow, not the upgrades that you can buy a lot more easilly. (just a suggestion to help you get what you want).

In the last thread make a note of article C; for relevance, I'm purchasing a req 8 13>50 with mods for 3k today (as last night we kept missing each other). Edit: I got one; thanks again for the screenshot Fist! FYI this is still in game as a quest reward for "Fires in the East" from Captain Ame in Ascalon. I do believe you need to have completed the Fort Ranik mission before he will give you the quest though. This is a great staff for trappers as you get +13 energy, or +18 with a max insightful head; throw a +5 defensive wrap on it and you're good!

i got an ebon short bow of defense. 13^50, req 8. interests? 5k is just fine if want.

Ok, I have the answer for the 80/60/40 staff, and it leads me to believe this is a bugged quest.

Started off with a fresh character.

1) Talked to Capt. Ame and accepted "Vanguard Equipment".

2) Finished the above and was given "Barradin's Advance".

3) Finished the above and was given, by gate guard Hollis "Barradin's Stand" & "Supplies for the Duke"; accepted these but did not start on them. Mapped back to Ascalon.

4) Returned to Captain Ame and was given "Fires in the East".

I think that perhaps if you complete the quests for Gate Guard Hollis without returning to Captain Ame 1st then you will not be given "Fires in the East". Either that or I've completed it with my other chars, scrapped the reward and then proceeded to completely forget I ever did the quest with those characters; which is entirely possible.

IIRC its not possible to put preorder items in the trade panel.

Well, the ones I have listed as not wanting are the ones I've collected so far. I have a few duplicates I can part with but I'm not interested in selling the ones I've gone through the trouble to get.
