Targeting issues
mr_wendell
I'm having issues targeting with my characters. I can't use the letter "T" to target and it does nothing when I click on the targeting icon next to the persons character who is targeting. Can someone help please? Thanks a bunch.

I'm not sure what the deal is, but I seem no longer able to attack called targets either by pressing "T". It seem this changed an update or 2 ago. I verified my key settings haven't changed and even tried changing the key to something else and nothing is working. I find this to be rather irritating. I suppose I should try re-installing the game at this point.
I know it was nothing I did, it was one of the updates for sure. Anyone else having this issue?
I'll post here if the re-install works.

After pressing "t" try clicking on attack skill or hitting the space bar

I see what you are saying, but before the problem started, I could press T and my warrior would attack any called target without selecting an attack skill.
Gonna do the re-install now... I will post if it is fixed after.

Pressing "T" alone never works unless using spells. For normal attacks, you havet to hit "T" then the spacebar. "T" only changes to the called target.
If no target has been called, you need to call one by hitting Tab and then Ctrl/spacebar or by clicking on the enemy with your mouse.

I swear it worked before. When a target was called, all I ever did was hit T and my warrior would attack with no other effort. And then one day I was punching the key and no longer getting a response...
Oh well, from the way you are all talking, it was a fluke???
Dunno, I will keep messing with it... Might have to script a key on my Ergodex to do it auto now...
I'll let you know.

My friends and I were talking about this. I never really noticed since I was the one who usually called the targets. Then one night they all said targeting wasn't working anymore. I too remember it being that hitting "T" would target and start attacking so I figured it got broke in a patch and would soon be fixed.
Then one night my wife and I were playing some new characters and since she had a warrior I told her to call the targets. That's when I noticed that "T" targeted but didn't attack. If I hit "T" and then the spacebar or a skill I would attack the called target. I told everyone else and they confirmed that it now worked like that for them too.
We all definately remember it working with just hitting "T" to target and attack. I can live with it this way but it would have been nice if they told us (I don't recall seeing it in an update).
I guess it is possible that we all have the same faulty memory on how it used to work...
