I lost my pet, any tips on how i can get it back?

Sorry if this is the wrong place, all the topics are supper confusing to a part time MMO'er.

My ranger (level 11) had a level 10 Pet last time I was in game, it died before I got to town (tipical of me rushing).

When i next went out of town (The next day), my pet was gone! no icon in party, only the three hirelings i got in town...

Yes I know about the revive pet cast you can do, though there is no icon for the pet, nor a party arrow on the map for me to find it....

Is there a way i can get my pet back, or is this meant to happen?

Do you have Charm Animal on your bar?

It should be alive, even after dying. Just make sure to have charm animal, its the skill that allows your pet to even exist.

heh, same thing happened to me when i was a n/r in ye olde ascalon using a sword....xD
and i went "omgwtf my pet is gone ;_;"

is it behind the sofa?

usually its between the cushions

I let mine out to take a piss and forgot to let em back in.

Oops...

ah yes, ranger skills... I remember when mine went missing to... took me a while to remember where I left it as well.
