End of Guild Wars Suggestion
fenix
Well, since all good games eventually come to an end, I would personally love to have a mission at the end of Chapter 2 (or how many there will be) which involves the Charr coming back in RIDICULOUS force, and Glint sending you back in time to kill them before the searing. You would turn up with your awesome skills and have to fight off really high levelled boss Charr so that the Charr never destroy Ascalon and the surrounding areas. Could then go to a cutscene showing the future (where you were before Glint) once the Charr have been stopped.
Of course, people would complain at having nothing to do, so Glint could be there again to send you back to where you were...or something...

Time travel is usually a HORRIBLE plot twist/turn. Put time travel in the hands of Anet...no offense but your plots aren't exactly top notch Anet.
However, I would like to visit presearing again.

It was just something that came into my head. Not aiming for it to be good, just that it could be a good way to end if the story could be tied into it. I also wasn't trying to be like Anet. I could, but wasnt. I have a million other ideas for the game, but this one sounded like it could be fun. Killing Charr again would be nice.
Arcanis the Omnipotent
I think I would just like to see Ascalon being partially restored by the end of Chap. 2.
I hate post searing Ascalon, its ugly and I cant stand looking at it very long, knowing what the land used to look like.

I wasn't flaming you....that time. Its a cool idea, but time travel=no good.

I think it would be cool if the final battle of tyria involved more than 8 players...
Anet has shown us they can handle a lot of players on the same map...why not an ultimate final mission? composed of squads of 8 teaming with 3 other squads of 8. You cannot heal or harm other members of the other squads, but you ultimately have to work together for a final cause. Maybe a final battle against a huge army?

Interesting. Although why wouldn't you be able to heal your allies? You can even heal monsters...with an interesting skill called heal area.

Wow, it's confusing enough with the whole pre/post searing and being in the same place. That would just make it crazy.

ah, but if you went back, then your character, after killing the charr, would then ether be stuck out of time and at a loss, or end up going *poof!* the second they arrived back in the original time.
you ether radicaly change the fabric of the timeline, and get changed yourself, or come face-to-face with the other version of yourself that comes from the lines future (and your present, so to speak, the time that you left from) that never had to do all the tings you did to get to the point you left at.....so no big powerfull character anymore, but some farmer or flower aranger, maybe a guard if your lucky.....
ow...timelines make my brain hurt....>.<!
and no..time travel is not the answer, even with magic....its 99.99% usually a mess.

i think that would be good, the final mission is to protect Ascalon from a huge horde of Charrs(final invasion). Charrs will get in the city (or outside the gate) and start spreading chaos. People will group to 8 as others will.
the big problem of having the final battle of tyria is that it will be the end of guildwars(PvE). no more storylines for missions. Quest may still be implemented doing things for some NPC's

Maybe not the End fight but the Charr End Fight...
Mr Wolfmaster
I think it would be cool if chapter 2 had a cool ending of ANY kind. The chapter 1 ending was kinda....boring. I won't say anymore so I don't spoil but anyone who's beatin the game knows what I mean.
