I know realize that this game has everything.... firstly i did the RPG part.... took me along time and i havent been everywhere yet.... Now i am fond of the PvP part.... Both parts are cool to play.... if u feel like farming, feel like trading, feel like PvP'ing.... its all there when u want

people complain constantly about things but when you compare it to other games you see that the support from Anet is awesome.
take a look at comments on Everquest and WoW support and you will see what i mean.
i also like the way it is a living game. constantly changing. always new tactics to try. new builds to use.

I agree...I'm still having a blast in PvE and love playing PvP every once in a while for a change of pace.
Now all we need to do is recruit some members for our new guild and I can thoroughly experience GvG...

I enjoy this game quite a bit. I don't really understand the "awesome" customer service from Anet though. Perhaps I'm just used to a forum on a website run by the game developers...just seems more personal to me.

I must admit I struggle with this one also, I think he implies that if you think GW is a great game then you havnt really looked at other games.
Well, I sell games, so I make it my business to look at all games!
Sure there are other good games out there, which do feature PvP, PvE, trading and farming, but, as Charcoal Ann says, GW is constantly changing, its living and breathing.. I really cant think of any other games which are quite like this.
When I consider other good MMO's.. sure they have new expansions or new editions, or issues or chapters.. but down the line these games have REALLY benefitted from these changes, some cant even imagine the game without them anymore (Imagine GW without faction)... So what Guildwars would be like when its as old as say.. City Of Heroes?... when GW has just released its 5'th chapter.. just imagine how much bigger,better and more world-wide the game would be... if GW isnt your cup of tea now, imagine it in a few years time xD

Also calling EVERYONE who says ANYTHING positive a fanboy is not a way to endear yourself to anyone. If you could give a real reason as to why you believe this game is crap then I’m sure we would all love to hear it. I accept that this game has a tetchy client. NetErr 7 is the bane of my existence. I accept that the WaW system is flawed at the moment. I accept that we could do with an Auction house system. I accept that the economy has a few little quirks that aren't desirable.
You need to accept that this game has good points. I will leave you to think of them. If you can be seen to have respect for others positions then you will in turn gain their respect. As it is you simply come across as arrogant and intolerant.

Well, I got this game right in the beginning of June, and I got BF2 the day it was released a few weeks later. I got through the install of BF2, and haven't even started it up since because I'm always playing GW.
Call me fanboy or whatever, but I'm just addicted to this game. To such an extent that all my other games are suffering. I even sold my xbox and gamecube because I never played them.
