I thinking about making and invinci but I'm afraid that they will nerf it by the time I get one done and polished up, opinions?

They've nerfed it several times already. If nothing else you should start
playing one now before they nerf it again and (god forbid) actually find
a way to cripple the build completely.

Even if you do get nerfed you'll still have a monk.. who cares if they nerf.

Technically, the build has never been "nerf'd". Additional baddies or changing up the groups you face is called "buff'ing" Even the original protective bond "nerf" is a stretch since the skill was modified to match it's description, it could easily be called a bug fix, and it was so easy to continue to use the build with another skill it could hardly be called a nerf...

I guess you could safely assume that A-Net is aware of that monk build and how it works. And while they made some things the monks did a bit harder, they never really nerfed the build itself. I guess they don't mind it and I wouldn't expect a complete nerf to it. It already survived 2 major skill balancing updates by A-Net.

However, the equipment is quite an investment (currently it's like 60k for the runes alone). Take this fact into consideration!

A-net is more concerned about having it balanced for PvP not PvE, which is why the build is not nerfed.

That's actually less then accurate, but the build didn't get nerfed anyway.
