Everything is different, just go with the blue one... since it has a more likely chance lol. Not all gold things are awsome.

Have a look at WHAT actually they have the recharge chance on. If it is divine favor and you brought no DF Skills... those 20 percent won't do you any good. Those 8 % of the golden ankh are probably 8 % chance on ALL skills. While your staff most probably is limited on smiting or stuff like that.

Gold items are not always better, they just sell for more at the merchant. However most gold and purple weapons have more mods than blues, so make sure that it is identical and not 20% (to one attribute vs to all attributes).
