To those who are thinking about Purchasing...

I am something of a hardcore PvP fan and I am having trouble getting used to the game. The role-playing start of this game is exciting and all but not a big deal (I'm kinda dissapointed).

SO: If you are an FPS fan or you like to Gank innocents don't play this game. 50 bucks down the drain I'm going back to play Planetside. Hopefully this gets better as I progress my character.

I speak only for myself. PM me if you are thinking about buying GW and I'll go into more detail. I just wished I had found a post like this before I had purchased. This is a fan forum full of nothing but praise. Thx and if you can help me out community wise send me a tell when im in game under this name without the underscore

If it means anything real PvP doesn't really start until you're level 20 in tombs and in GvG.

So I wouldn't draw any conclusions until more people get to level 20.

Oh my, this is gonna turn into a mighty flaming thread, but with all due respect if you liked the grinding, mass pvp,and non-instanced worlds so much in the other mmorpgs then why did you leave them for an out-of-the box game like guild wars?

He said he was an FPS fan,not a MMORPG fan,so im guessing he cant get used to actually thinking before acting instead of simple twitch based killing.

His name contains a MMoRPG title (Dark Age Of Camelot, and wasnt Andred a PvP/Gank server) and he mentions being a hardcore PvP fan and how disapointed he is at ganking not being a part of the game. So I think its more of a 'I dont like the game because I can't have a huge advantage other the other guy' thread.
