I was toying with the idea of a difficulty setting being implemented for missions. This should be set by the captain of a group. It should have like 3 levels or so: standard, difficult and hard. All it does is spawn more monsters (extra spawn points have to be set in area's) and/or have an upgrade over all monsters (making them a set amount of levels higher).
The point is that missions are replayable and in hard setting should still be a challange for lvl 20 caracters (upgrade of monsters and more of them). At difficult setting it should only spawn more monsters.
No other change really, so it doesn't influence the game as it is. It's just an easy upgrade to the game I think that keeps lvl 20 caracters a new challange and people that are training up their 3rd or more caracter might be interested in having it a bit more challanging for a change (as when doing it for a third+ time you know what to do and where to walk).
Edit: forgot about quests, but maybe they can have the setting standard and difficult, both options should be available at the npc you get it from. The quest will automatically be set to the standard setting when 2 different settings have been selected in a group.
