Could use some help with my Me/N build...

Aye lads and lasses!

I've been lurking different forums for quite some time now, but never posted before...

When I first joined this game I just played, did not think about builds or anything. Just walked around killing and dying! After some quick math I soon figured I died more often than I killed, so I went out gathering some info on builds for my Me/N. The best advice I was able to come across was; look at the skills and find skills you wish to use and combine. Mkay! So I did, but since I'm not particularely good at calculating energyuse and casting time I'm not sure my build will work.

I haven't yet placed attributepoints, since I'm not sure due to the math as mentioned, any pointers would be nice. My focus is mainly on PvE, and I'm trying to make somekind of a degen char; DoT. I've also added some energyfillers.

Skills:
-Soulbarbs
-Fragility
-Faintheartedness
-Conjure Phantasm
-Phantom Pain
-Suffering
-Spirit of Failure
-Energy Tap

Not sure about what order to cast either...
So, this is my buildsuggestion, what you think? Mainly concentrated around FC, Curses, Ill and Insp! Feel free to laugh or comment, but please add in some help as well...!?

HAHA (kidding).
you have absolutely no need for fragility if the only condition you inflict is deep wound.
there is no elite there either...
if you are high lvl enough, got the elite, i would reccoment either life transfer or feast of corruption.

Hmmm...See the point...

What about adding crippling anguish as elite?

Also thought og Migraine for dealing with magicusers, and Sympathetic visage for groupe aid and crippling warriors furthermore...

If you're a mesmer using Illusion it would seem, it's only fitting you get an elite in either Illusion or maybe mantra of Recovery. [yay for 2x casting]

For an elite, Illusion-wise, I'd avoid Crippling Anguish and instead vote for...

Fevered Dreams {E}

In pve, enemies bunch up and a long lasting condition bomb is better than Epidemic's tiny radius...

PvE Illusionists are tricky because you want AoE skills. Maelstrom in Domination is about all a Mesmer has really...

For curses, you've got the BOMB going on...

Shadow of Fear
Enfeebling Blood
Suffering
FEAST OF CORRUPTION {E}

They are the PvE nukes in the Curses line and are VERY good at rendering a mob of enemies useless...

-Soulbarbs - HEX
-Feast of Corruption - ELITE - AoE
-Faintheartedness - HEX
-Conjure Phantasm - HEX
-Phantom Pain - HEX
-Suffering - HEX - AoE
-Spirit of Failure - HEX
-Energy Tap - SPELL

I see how FoC becomes nice now, since I'm this hex heavy.
I also see that I could add some more AoE skills. What about swapping Energy Tap with Shadow of Fear?

How would this char work in PVP btw?

I find soul barbs not particularly useful unless you or your teamates use hexes considerably often.

Well I run Blood and Illusion, here's how I roll.
(Seems to work pretty well, SF goes fairly quick)

Offering Of Blood (E) Because I'm too lazy to hunt for BiP
Arcane Echo (For either Clumsiness or Vamp Gaze
Life Siphon
Clumsiness
Vampiric Gaze
Blood Renewal
Demonic Flesh
Res Sig

Use Echo for Clumsy on melee chars and gaze for anything else.
My blood attribute is higher than Illusion so I tend to move towards
gaze.
