We, The Ministry, have been around for, what's coming up to, 5 years of gaming. Though we have never played an MMORPG as a collective group, many of our members have, and now, after taking so much time out from it, we have spread into both Guild Wars, and World of Warcraft.
In our prior gaming, of a very different genre, we were known for being the best, and for our hardcore activity. We are carrying on this attitude into Guild Wars, but it is our feeling that we need new members.
We are intending to suit all branches of GW, PvP, PvE, and GvG - with the allowance of all our members to do whichever branch they wish. Though we have seperate people doing each different thing, we hope to stay as part of a collective group of friends. Some of our members have known each other for over a year, and talking for 4/5 hours a day minimum for that amount of time, really builds friendship - We hope to bring that atmosphere here, to our Guild.
Our intention is to guide newer players, and give a home to older players, through whichever path of Guild Wars they wish to follow. However, we have other goals, including being a welcoming, and friendly atmosphere to all players, and to ascend the Ladder, quickly proving that we are one of the best Guilds in this game.
What makes us different.
We believe there are three things that make us different from other Guilds in this game.
1) Our history - it is our belief that very few Guilds have been around since 2000.
2) Our activity - I don't know how many Guilds have members that play 18 hours a day minimum for activity, holding down jobs, and having rich personal lives.
3) Our friendship - We have built ourselves over many years, creating a strong bond of friendship between our members. We hope to expand that, and welcome new players into this bond, and we hope you will stick with us for time to come.
What we do.
Currently, the Leaders of this Guild, are striving towards sorting out systems that help the interaction between players, as well as a helpful trading system to see how things can benefit the Guild. We do however, request you purchase a mic, or headset (preferred) upon gaining access to our guild. We will strive to do all we can for our members, and bring them into a welcoming atmoshphere.
