Hey Guys i'm new...and shy so don't flame me 2 badly -_-'

I'm the kinda person who HATES using the same old builds as other people....2 months or so ago when they nerfed Chain Lightning I decided to try water magic....Been a Water Elle for awhile (before the easy water greens and last patch boost :P) I've gotten alot of mixed responces from teamates to Gratitude to outright flameing me for being useless....Was wondering what you all thought of my build..mostly for PvE but I've done a few PvP runs with it as well...mostly random area cause my guild is really inactive.

Water Magic-16
Energy Storage-9
Illusion Magic -10

Water Trident
Ice Spikes
Maelstrom
Frozen Burst
Blurred Vision
Water annument
Distortion
Res sig/Conjor Phatasm

Pretty much a support char I don't do the Massive AoE damage that fire elles do. Use Maelstrom on casters along with Ice Spikes and trident to keep them in the AoE and unable to cast...or to keep warriors slow and knocked over...Use Blurred vission on warriors and rangers and distortion for myself....Frozen burst on warriors who attack me so I can do 110 damage and run away as it slows them....But lately I been regretting haveing a 10 in illusion for one skill...So places that we can respawn I've been taking trying out other illusion spells just to help my damage dealing.

Me/E

My build is pretty similar except for a few things:

I'm a Me/E, so that's 12 Water Magic and 15 Fast Cast (the rest is irrelevant)

I use Deep Freeze instead of Frozen Burst.

I use Ice Prison instead of Water Attunement

I use Mist Armor instead of Distortion.

But my build is fine tuned to PvP (Fast Cast protects from the rampant interrupts and persistant warriors), and you say yours is made for PvE (larger energy pool means you can control more mobs), so that can probably explain the differences.

Glad to see the water's gaining some supporters.

And don't worry about those that flame you because the benefits from Water aren't as obvious as those from other skill lines; these players usually not worth playing with anyways.

I suggest you try to obtain Flint's Wand and Focus (greens). Together, you've got 2 items that have 20% chances EACH of helping your regen for your Water spells (and they can overlap). They're really great!
