Quick question...

Why did RURIK have to die? ;-; Rurik was the cool one, why do the cool ones always die? WHY?!

Because Althea was dead. They had to be reunited. And besides, a Warrior running around with a FDS needs to die.

Erm, most casters I know never liked Rurik. He's always been an arrogant, reckless, over-confidant person that talks too much. I'm glad he was slain, though, of course, I wouldn't say that in regards to an actual person. (Particularly didn't like him charging ahead. He should have had the kilroy stonekin shout -_-)

Whoa... someone who LIKED Rurik? Sheesh... sometimes I'll go back and play Frost Gate over again just to watch him die. That's one cutscene I never skip.

He doesn't die...er...um...he just doesn't move... for a long time... it's just really cold and he's frozen... and... gets to know an axe really well. That's all. It's really quite a mystery what happens... even though they show us.

Rurik was cool and I started out as a caster.

He died because he was a tool.

he deserved everything coming to him. i was sad when i had to kill Dagnar in TK. how can i kill the dwarf that killed my enemy?

Often I will do Hell's Precipe just to watch Rurik die from my fire wand on my ele, or my sword from my warrior. It's always fun to do xD

well, i kinda liked rurik....when you have played with pally types befor, especially those anoying Solamnic buggers with their Oaths and Mustaches...you get used to them doing silly bugger tricks and treating your casters like they are only there to make things glow so they can avoid them lol.

and yeah..the poor sap was hurting over his intended getting the hotfoot from the Charr.
how many of you lot ever saw the late prince sniffling in the cold up in the mountains and ever though that he didnt have a cold, or his red eyes werent from staying up all night keeping an eye out for those late stragglers training into Yaks bend?
i'll bet some of those times he used to go off on loner missions, he had spare hankies in his armour for a good sob or two.
