Finding on 10/10 Recharge, Cast Speed Improve

I wish to exploit a 10/10 Recharge, Cast Speed Staff for my UW Trapper
finally i bought a 10/9(recharge) one for 35k

actually i am stupid that i found " I do not CAST a trap " after the purchase...
but i still happy becoz i still own a near perfect stuff and i thought i could still benefit from Improve Skill Recharge(9%)


However, a sad fact is that
Improve Skill Recharge DOES NOT affect Traps......
i tried like 20 times without any improve


Does 10/10 only benefit SPELLs ?
but it shouldnt be like that !
becoz its Improve SKILL recharge !

Sidenote before posting:
Go for the Rockmolder... it has an unlinked 20 % recharge on skills. The only item in the game that does have it.

To the topic, are you sure? I have not tested it to an extinct, but when i was putting a few traps i noticed them randomly recharging faster. But after you mentioned it... i'm not so sure about that.
However, you should try more often than 20 times. Back in the days of Prot Bond Farming i sometimes had to recast Prot Bond up to 70 times... with an icon wielding a 20 % chance on increasing the skill by +1 -.-

70 times does sound like a stretch you sure you weren't wearing the right headpiece, and just so remembered at around, oh, #60? ;D

You have about a 15% chance of not experiencing the improvement in 20 tries.
6% at 30
2% at 40
<1% at 50

The percentage chance of getting fast cast doesn't increase over time. It doesn't decrease either. It's very possible that you will never get a fast cast. Also the same that you may always get one.
