newb needs help with picking character

hey i just got gw and what would be the best profession or the funnest one??

The fun of this game is all up to you. If you want to be invited to most groups, make a monk, ele, or warrior. If you like to be in the thick of a battle, take warrior. If you like to be constantly yelled at by PUGs for your lack of healing, take monk. If you want to deal damage (and lots of it), take ele. The most fun class, in my opinion, is mesmer, but you'd better like playing alone for the most part, because so few people understand the power inherent in the support classes. The same could be said of rangers and necros, which are very fun to play, but highly underappreciated by the average 10 year old (and you'll find plenty of adolescents in PUGs).

if you like going straight into mobs, pick warrior (primary) if you like standing back and dealing lots of dmg, pick ele (primary), you can be a warrior/ele but you wouldnt have lots of eng... but it is w/e you like
