Elonian Key's but no chests?

When I'm out in the Crystal desert I sometimes find Elonian Key's. But I never see any chests around to use them on. I've been experiencing this now for some weeks. Did anyone else notice this?

I haven't experienced any problems... I find plenty of chests in the desert.

there is an elonian chest by that dude from the "forgotten ones" quest

Just outside Elona reach you can normally find a chest, although, I find selling the keys is more profitable.
