No flaming here. It isn't from Devona. You get a long sword like the one in my first post in this thread from Pitney. It's a quest reward for "The Prize Moa Bird" which you get from Pitney. You get that quest after you complete the quest where you "save" his field from the Worm Queen. You can do that quest thanks to helping out Duke Barradin (reward from helping him out is 2 devourer eggs) or from collecting 5 skale fins and giving them to Brownlow the Collector outside Ascalon City.
