Avatars acting funky.. again.

Ehh, just wondering why the avatars now look like they've been saved on .gif ... I loaded mine from imageshack on .bmp so it didn't have that horrible clouded look, yet its sitting here on the boards like that. Was this made for others with slower connections to be able to load the forums faster ? Or, is my computer smoking something..? o.o

It appears your avatar image is a PNG file. Perhaps there's a lapse in the save or upload step of the process you went through to get it from your hard drive to here. I haven't personally tried uploading a BMP, so I'm not sure that the site would change it, but I've only known image hosting services to do such a thing.

Yes, image shack does change it to a png, but it has never messed up any images before on guildwarsguru on neither of my computers.

Your avatar's quality looks very good from what I can see. If you've been noticing that pictures that were once clear now become grainy, or of poor quality, and you've not touched them at all, then it's probably some display problem, maybe accidentally switching from a higher color resolution to a lower one. Or it could be a web browser setting you're using.

I'm a newbie to imageshack v_v didn't know it converted automatically.

I think your pic quality actually looks better than my game, though...
