Just Pre-ordered Guild Wars

And since I've never pre-ordered a game before, I don't know what to do. I bought the game at Best Buy, and need some help knowing what to do when Guild Wars comes out. Do I just take in the receipt?

Mabye the guru's should put up an FAQ because ive seen a number of posts about this and other things newcomers ask about. Not that i mind answering questions in the forum since thats what its here for.

That would be an excelent idea. The admins could/should jsut pretty much copy and paste the information from the Guild Wars main site into a new addition of this one and if the newbies cannot see it, when they ask, jsut send them to the FAQ page. Please dothis admins, it will save bandwitch.

yeah this sounds like a good idea, but i think you shouldnt copy and paste the one from guildwars.com, it should be a guru QandA. maybe an admin or someone like that could gather up all the noob questions and things like that from the forums and....noobs, lol

guys i just preordered guildwars from EBgames so when do i get the beta key to play ??

did you order from a local store or by net?

if by local store as soon as they heve it and as soon as you go in and pick it up

if by net as soon as they ship it to you

some places will email you the key in case shipping is slow

u cant get beta outside of US can u... i live in AUS and havnt seen any beta posters or anything at ebgames. and i got an email that i dont get beta only ppl in US get the beta~ so yer whats a good place to buy guildwars and i get a beta access key aswel??

If they say you wont get the pre-order, I would recommend cancelling your order, get your money back and try out this site.

yer thnx i already have so gamesmarket eh~ hmm well i remember reading somewhere im this forum some ppl said gamestop is good for preordering... so do i get beta access key with these as soon as i buy them?

gamespot will email you a beta key if you ask. not sure if they will do that for the retail however.

which ships the beta disc to me since its in australia for no cost~
altho it says it ships on 30/04/2005 ... what does that mean?? i will get it at that time? so no participation in beta event aswell?~! i seriously dont get the PREORDER NOW and play in beta when it says the release date is in APRIL

the preorder box and the retail box are 2 separate boxes

ask when you would get the preorder box and if it would not make it in time ask if they email beta keys

i assume the april 30 ship date is for the retail game box
