Boss Auras?
Bibblenorn
I have heard people talking about colored boss auras, enabling them to see what profession the boss is. However, I have never seen these... how do I enable them?

If you can see in color, you can see it....
The boss is just colored a certain color (red for eles, dark green for necros, etc...) You shouldnt need to enable anything.

your video card needs to have DirectX 8.1 compatable. i belive thats when they added shadows; my friend also cant see them.

Bosses look just like regular bad guys to me. For example, I was killing a group of dwarves, and I didn't realize there was a boss there until I clicked on him and saw his name. I have honestly never seen these colors...
EDIT: Ah. My videocard is plenty capable, but GW gave me an error message when I first installed the game... ah well. Thanks

Tell me your Video cards' information; like the Maker(ATi/nVidia) and model number...

integrated graphics are compatable but dont support it.
as you said knowing the card will tell as some g force 4 cards dont have the needed support

I believe if you must have the video quality set above a certain level for bosses to glow a certain color (when you go to option, its a slider).

yeah lol, i used to play with max graphic settings on everything, but my card was only a GeForce 440 mx. Within the last month I upgraded to a GeForce 6600 and finally see the aura. So it is whether you card can support it or not, nothing to do with graphics settings (though I assume lower settings wouldn't turn the glow on/would give a nasty textured glow)
