What is the max base energy you can get with a monk?

I want to keep the +4 energy pip, so no negative energy items? What is the most you can get with armor and weapons and focus items...whatever?
I am trying to find out, so any help would be nice.

Collector has energy regen -1 +15 +12 = +27, -1 pip = 3 pips
You can get +5 energy >50 wand, +12 energy focus (any) --> +17, 4 pips
You can get a +5 insightful staff --> +15 energy, 4 pips
EDIT: You can get a +15 +12 - 1 pip offhand also. that means +54 and 2 pips if you use both the +12 +15/-1 offhand and weapon

I believe offhands have a max of 12, and they can have innate mods to further increase.

yeah offhands have a max of 12 energy... then there are the other offhands with a -1 energy degen but u get +30HP and +27Energy

I have full ascetic tattoos, and the +12, +15 -1 offhand and have 65 energy. So, without the -1 regen I would have 50 energy. Add a weapon with a + energy and you could up that a little.

For my healer I have found that its not a case of how much of an energy pip you have but how fast you can regen it, especially when using low energy cost spells like orison and word of healing.
My guy has only 45 max without morale bonuses but even just an extra +1 regen from the 15k saintly pants has made a huge difference and I rarely run out of energy when doing run-of-the-mill battles and still manage to do a decent job..except in UW where only 2 hits from those aataxes manage to kill ppl....

55 is correct, although the +1 scalp is a waste, so sacrifice the +1 energy to get +1 to whatever attribute you need.
So for practical purposes 54 is the best you should hope for.(with conditions)

I traded / found (can't remember) a +14en / -1en degen gold Truncheon, so it's possible to have +en/-degen weapons as well. I I haven't seen any rods / wands with this but it's possible.
Most of the weapons you see are +2en to +5en > 50%.
